Is there any proper way to lodge a complaint about these calls? I've had loads and loads of them recently. Sometimes when I pick up, the line just goes dead, other times it’s some kind of automated message. After getting fed up, I pressed 5 to talk to a real person and politely asked to have my number removed from their list. I’ve done this probably five times now, but it’s no use - seems like these calls just keep on coming, like with most spam calls. Note: definitely don’t lose your cool with them, haha. I have to admit, I got annoyed eventually and the next time I got through, I told them “I don’t owe anything, so remove me from your phone list and get lost”, then hung up. What I found crazy was they kept calling back repeatedly for about three minutes straight, even though I kept answering then hanging up immediately without either of us saying anything. Absolutely mental!

I use a pay as you go phone and I rarely share my number, even when I probably should. Lately, I've been getting nonstop texts about PPI, and now they've even called me. The caller said they were from DVS and ran me through an automated survey about insurance, double glazing replacement, PPI, and more, then offered a £20 gift card. I've asked them to stop calling, so we'll see what happens. I'm also looking into who they are because this feels like they're misusing personal info, which really shouldn't be happening.
