Got a call from someone claiming to be from “Vodafone Promotions” - sounded like an Indian accent and they had no clue which network I use. Definitely just a spammy cold call.

Got a call saying it was from EE and they had an upgrade offer. The lady asked if I was on an EE contract, which I am not, so I told her I’m actually with Vodafone. There was a bit of quiet, then she just said "Alright then madam... thanks, bye" and hung up.

Allegedly calling from EE, they claimed to be reaching out about a potential phone upgrade. They seemed to have my personal information too. However, I've got a strong feeling this is a scam! I’m not even an EE customer!
