I got hit with a £2 charge for phoning this number but I have no clue who they actually are. Tried ringing back but all it did was leave me waiting on hold for ages. Really annoying!

Hey there! Got two really rude texts from 44779519 on my phone. I rang the number back and an automated voice said the number had switched to 08431162344. When I dialled that new number, it just put me on hold. That’s when I realised it was probably a trick to charge me loads. So I just ended the call.

I tried ringing the Nuffield Health number 0116 298 8205 and got told to call the number above. I was stuck on hold for a bit, then when it finally rang it just dropped me back into the queue. I kept at it for a few minutes, then called Nuffield again and managed to get through this time. Now I’m waiting to find out what this ended up costing me.
