Dial the Happy Number for calls to the USA at 1p per minute, in addition to BT's connection charge. According to BT, the cost of calling an 0843 number from a BT landline or mobile is as follows: - Calls from a BT landline will cost 12p per minute, plus the service charge. - Calls from a BT mobile will cost 30p per minute, plus the service charge. Please note that 0843 numbers are not included in any BT calling plans for either landlines or mobiles.

I’d steer clear of this number if I were you-it’s a total con! Definitely not worth your time. Just another dodgy spam operation. A real disgrace, to be honest. What’s wrong with BT and Sky for letting this slide?

Caution with 0843 014 3200! They claim it's only 1 penny per minute, plus a 5p connection fee, but what they conveniently omit is that the 5p is charged every minute as well. This effectively turns that 1p into a hefty 6p per minute, on top of whatever your phone network decides to add. I ended up shelling out £1.84 for a 14-minute conversation, thinking I’d be paying maybe 20p plus my regular provider fee for an 0843 call. I’m with Virgin’s call anytime bundle, so I assumed 0843 numbers wouldn’t cost me a thing, but clearly, I was mistaken. Moral of the story: make sure to read the fine print and do a bit of digging for reviews before diving into these phone services, and don’t forget to check with your own network provider about their charges. A lesson reinforced, but thankfully, it hasn't set me back too much.

I recently came across a charge on my BT Bill for a service called Justcall, which I used to make international calls. However, I noticed that out of the total cost of 16p per minute, 15p was actually a connection charge imposed by BT. It seems that BT has altered their billing structure as they used to only charge for the actual call duration. This seems like a dishonest move on their part. Definitely not a fair deal by BT!
