Got a call from someone claiming they were from the government, trying to help lower credit card debts or something like that. I just kept them talking for ages, seeing how long I could stretch it out.

Got a bloke on the phone rambling about council or social housing, couldn’t make much sense of it. Told him I’m not involved with any of that and ended the call. Then, a week passed and the same thing happened again. When I repeated I’m not connected to it, he said they’d take my name off their list this time around. Honestly, that should’ve been sorted after the first call. Feels like a total cold call scam to me.

I’ve been receiving calls from a place I used to stay at about a year and a half back. When I inquired if they were associated with MTVH (the housing provider), they informed me they weren't and hailed from Manchester instead. It has all the hallmarks of a potential scam, if you ask me.

there's this bloke rob who acts like he's better than everyone and just keeps ringing me. no matter how many times I've said no, he won't back off. He’s dead set on speaking with the md only.
