It’s rather disturbing to think about how he might have acquired that information.

The lady said she was ringing from “Social Housing”. When I asked her to explain what that actually meant, she then wanted to know if I was a Council Tenant or a renter. I told her I wasn’t either and then she tried to end the call quickly. I asked her why she was contacting me but she just went silent. She had an Indian accent.

I told him quite firmly that I had no issues at all, and he abruptly ended the conversation. If there are any concerns with my housing, I’m more than capable of sorting it out myself or contacting my landlord. Cheers, but no thanks!

They knew my name and even mentioned an address I'd rented before along with the lettings agency. The strange thing is, I haven't lived there since March 2016.
