I got a call saying they were from Vodafone tryin to give me a 30% discount on my plan. I told them I was actually with Voxi, which I think belongs to Vodafone too, and then they just hung up on me! Bit cheeky if you ask me. Lol!

This number actually called my landline right after Santander blocked an online payment for security reasons. The caller told me to ring them back, but instead I contacted Santander using the official number I already had. They confirmed that the number in question did belong to them. That said, I’m not sure if 08082802613 could be faked or spoofed by scammers.

Got a call on my mobile from this number claiming to be Santander Fraud Team. They actually used my full name in the message which made me a bit suspicious. While checking up on the number, I got another call but this time on my home phone from them again, and they repeated my full name. They asked me to verify my date of birth, but instead of telling it, they gave me three different years to choose from. This call genuinely linked to a recent online purchase I made, as they mentioned the precise amount and wanted me to confirm if it was authentic.

Got a call on my mobile from this number claiming to be Santander Fraud Dept. They actually said my full name in the voicemail. While I was checking up on the number, they rang my landline too, again using my full name. They asked me to verify my DOB, but instead of typing it in, they gave me three year options to choose from.
This turned out to be legit and linked to an online purchase I’d just made - they mentioned the exact amount and wanted me to confirm it.
