Santander got in touch about some dodgy activity where someone was trying to nick money from my account. They first shot me a text and then gave me a bell but I didn’t pick up. Instead, I dialled the number from their message and they sent a code through to my online account to check it was actually me. After that, they blocked my card and posted me a new one to make sure no one else could withdraw cash. Felt pretty secure about the whole thing.

Without a doubt, it was Santander. I got a text that seemed fishy, so I rang the number from their app just to check. Turns out, someone had been attempting to make purchases on eBay using Apple Pay with my card info. The weird thing is, I don’t use Apple Pay or that card for eBay at all.
