You'll probably receive a text about some unauthorised activity on your card, asking you to reply yes or no. After that, they'll call you from this number. Just play along and say yes to whatever they claim, then tell them you don't have an account with them. Finish off by thanking them for their call.

That Santander scam call is still going on. They already have your name, address and last 4 digits of your card, then they ask you about some transactions and tell you to call back if they’re wrong. Best thing to do is just ignore and don’t get involved with them at all.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Santander saying my card was being used fraudulently, made me pretty anxious at first. They had some info like my name, address, even the last four numbers of my card, so it looked legit. Whether it’s a phone call or a text, it’s all a scam. Just a heads up, never give out any one-time passwords or personal details to these folks!
