I reckon this is definitely a scam. Got a call from this number, seemed suspicious right away. Definitely wouldn’t trust it!

Got a call from an Asian guy, sounded like one of those dodgy scam calls.

So I was chatting with TomTom online, and suddenly they said they’d transfer me to support. This person claimed to be from TomTom’s GPS help team and said I owed £59 for a ‘license’ because my device hadn’t been updated in ages, like over three months or something. Then they tried to get me to let them into my computer to ‘fix’ the issue. Felt really fishy to me.

I tried updating my TomTom maps but then it popped up asking me to buy some software for Windows 10. Felt like a bit of a scam, to be honest.
