Just like everyone else here, I tried blocking that 0808 number but then today, a call came from some French number +33 1 98 02 99 68. So I had no choice but to block that one too! Seems like they’re switching numbers all the time.

Got a recorded call claiming they'd taken £299 from my account and telling me to ring a number to cancel it. Just like before, I checked all my accounts on another gadget to be sure, and there was no charge at all. Didn’t bother calling back, just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call saying they charged me £299.99 and I needed to ring them up to cancel, but they didn’t say who they were or what the payment was about. Had a look at my bank, no money’s gone out so I’m just leaving it for the moment.

I saw this 1530 number pop up and just didn’t pick up, seemed like one of those pointless scam calls to me. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

I got a call with some recorded voice, sounded American, saying money had been taken out from my bank. I didn’t bother listening and just ended the call, knew it was a scam right away.

someone rang me saying they were from gps global protection services, selling antivirus and pc security stuff. they told me my subscription was gonna expire in two days and money would be taken out unless i cancelled it. i told them to cancel and gave my phone number. i originally got the call on my mobile but then called back using my landline. the weird thing is, they never once asked for my name which made me quite suspicious.

Got a recorded message saying I supposedly owe some fee and to ring them back, which is obviously a scam trying to steal your info or get cash out of you. They do sound pretty civil though, so if you're up for messing about, why not give them a ring? Just be sure to check your call charges before you do!
