6 yearsHello there! Just wanted to chime in about an email I got, which was eerily similar to the one Ruth Foster mentioned above. Identical in text but with a minor blunder in my email address-seems they placed a dot in an odd spot. I strongly suggest that anyone who receives correspondence from these absolute nincompoops should just hit delete! Clearly, it’s a scam that’s as transparent as glass. Oddly enough, this turned up right after I installed AVG free on my Android, which is a bit fishy, don’t you think? If you fancy giving them a bell, be prepared for a right mess with your finances! Just steer clear!Ruth Foster6 yearsI've just received an email that has me rather puzzled, coming from [email protected]. It appears to be about a product I have no intention of using and certainly haven't purchased before. Best wishes, JAKE SULLY Manager - Billing Department Contact Number: +44 808 189 6171 --- This is definitely not something I’ve signed up for, and I find it rather concerning.Technical Department6 yearsExercise caution; we likewise received an email regarding this matter.6 yearsI received a call regarding a refund for some AntiVirus software that I supposedly purchased. It seems like a classic bait-and-switch scheme they've got going on. They entice you into cancelling something and promise a refund, only to find out that no money was ever deducted from your account in the first place. What’s really concerning is that they might be trying to swipe your card information under the guise of processing that “refund.” Honestly, whatever you do, don’t ring them back!Submit Your Own Report (0808 189 6171)
