I can confirm that it’s definitely Vodafone. This number tends to spring into action as soon as you hint at wanting to end your contract with them. We were fielding calls from them up to six times a day! After a while, we told Vodafone's customer service to stop ringing us, and they assured us they’d take care of it. Today, I received a call from the number 080800224636. I answered, only for the line to go dead on me. I had just terminated my contract with them the day prior because I wasn’t keen on their service. A few years back, I had a similar experience and moved on from them. I thought it might be worth giving them another shot, but alas, nothing has improved-I still can’t use my phone overseas. It's rather tiresome, isn’t it? Why can’t they just take a hint and cease their incessant calling? It’s like dealing with an overzealous child-come on, Vodafone! If your service disappoints, just let folks be and allow them the freedom to choose what suits them best elsewhere.

I've received quite a few calls from this particular number today. I picked up on a couple of occasions only to be met with silence. I reckon switching my plan from a contract to pay-as-you-go could be the cause behind these bothersome calls. Is it not strange that a telecoms provider would engage in such silent calling? Definitely seems like OFCOM ought to take a closer look and dish out a hefty penalty. What really gets my goat is that I'm currently out of the country, so each time I answer their pesky calls, I'm essentially lining their pockets.

Absolutely, that's definitely Vodafone! The moment they called me, I noticed an extra zero at the beginning of the number, which gave the impression it might be an international call. Quite possible they’re trying to trick us into picking up. Anyone who's been with Vodafone for a decent stretch will recognise their sketchy 08xxxx xxxx numbers over time. We've already given notice to terminate our service, so I'm certain they'll keep bombarding us. After all these years of being overcharged, we’re expecting a substantial discount!
