A bloke with a strong Indian accent rang me up saying he was calling from Vodafone, asking loads of odd personal info and security stuff. I wasn’t really thinking straight when I answered and ended up giving out some details. It’s been stressing me out, thinking I might’ve handed my info over to a scammer. Later on, I popped into the Vodafone shop in town. The staff there looked into it and confirmed they had called me around the same time, so it really was Vodafone after all.

Really odd situation. This number showed up as MBNA but I’ve never had any dealings with them. Got a message saying Vodafone would be ringing from that number because it appeared as MBNA. I chose to block it anyway. They did leave a voicemail claiming it was Vodafone and said they’d ring again. So, I blocked the number in the end.

Without a doubt, this number belongs to VODAFONE! I was away from home and didn’t have my landline for four days, so I had no clue there was an outage.
