They had the audacity to ask us to confirm our email address, which they clearly already possessed, as well as our postcode. Regrettably, we were just about to head out, running behind for an important engagement, and I was trying to wrap up the conversation quickly. A moment later, it struck us that we've never received such an offer via email, and that's when the alarm bells started ringing. Hence, we found our way to this site.

Apparently, it relates to something called the "Silent Ring Guard," which is in addition to the Telephone Preference Service - because, clearly, having just one list wouldn't make it too easy, would it? We've put our number on the list, and they say it should kick in within 48 hours. Here’s hoping this does the trick!
