Just to let you know, those callers didn't get in touch tomorrow. Instead, they decided to phone us this evening while we were enjoying our tea, using the number 08009889546. Aren't BT just splendid?

S. Harris, it seems like these folks just aren't grasping things when you communicate in Hindi!

This number continually hounds our mobile phone, yet they never bother to leave a message. When I do pick up, there's no reply at all. Quite frustrating, really!

I received a call that seemed to be from BT, where they were promoting a discounted rate on broadband services. However, when they asked me for my identification details, I chose not to disclose any information. I find it strange that a legitimate representative would lack proper identification and would require me to provide personal details instead.

I've been receiving calls from three specific numbers: 0800 9533008, 0800 9889546, and 0800 9533006. It's rather bothersome as they've been ringing me daily for the past week. I took the liberty of reporting these incidents to BT, and a helpful chap informed me that none of these numbers are actually registered with them. Apparently, if you return their call, it could cost you 4p per minute! When a genuine BT representative contacts you, all interactions are recorded in their system, and they can provide you with details about the last time someone reached out to you. Quite a puzzling situation, to say the least!

What a nuisance these individuals are! We’ve had the phone left off the hook for about an hour, so I suppose that’s valuable to them? Unfortunately, we can't respond as we have a relative who’s 96 and might require our assistance. I do have a mobile phone since there haven’t been any issues before.

They keep ringing us too! It appears that these folks have a habit of calling just to try and rope us into yet another 12-week broadband deal. Honestly, we can’t stand companies that pester their current customers with unwanted offers. To make matters worse, the salespeople are usually a bit useless. If we didn’t grab this deal right off the bat with all the necessary info, it’s because we simply weren’t interested. What difference does a pushy salesperson make anyway!

Received a call regarding a broadband promotion. This was the second time in just three days! They hang up promptly as soon as you decline to share your bank account details.

Are these individuals particularly persistent? I can't seem to get a moment’s peace with all the incessant ringing of the phone.

BT seems to be either thoroughly dishonest or completely inept. We’ve answered their calls, clearly stated that we have no interest, and asked them to stop phoning us. Yet, here we are, just three days later, and they have resumed their incessant calls. Maybe we ought to convey our message in Hindi to make it crystal clear!

We're registered with the Telephone Preference Service as well as adhering to the BT code of conduct, so these sorts of folk shouldn't be able to contact us trying to peddle their wares. I phoned the complaints line and ended up chatting with a rather perplexed young woman in India who assured me that they'd cease their calls. Considering they’ve managed to ring me every day this week while I'm at my job, if I find they don’t try to get in touch tomorrow, it’ll be a definite win in my book!

I just gave them a ring again, and the lady mentioned her regular post, plus a unique offer.

I received a call from these individuals at precisely 13:25 on the 20th of November, 2007, only for them to hang up without uttering a word. As a member of the Telephone Preference Service, I find it rather baffling that BT thinks these callers have a more valid reason to disturb us than our own choices!

I've received multiple calls from this number and not a single message was left on my voicemail. Quite odd, really!

I've recently started getting calls from this number, and I must say, it's wearing me down! Whenever we answer, there's nobody on the other end. It's exceedingly frustrating, especially since these 0800 numbers have been pestering us far more than our actual friends and relatives! We've got caller ID, but it's baffling how they manage to get hold of our digits, especially since we’re supposed to be ex-directory. In fact, I’ve had to change our number before due to being bombarded with similar nuisance calls. It's just become so tiresome!

Well, I found that the best way to stop them from incessantly phoning was either to return their call and nicely ask them to cease the calls, or to actually pick up the phone and engage in a conversation. A few days back, they were relentless, ringing us repeatedly until we finally had to let them know that if they didn't stop, we’d be forced to terminate our broadband contract and seek out another provider. Surprisingly, that seemed to do the trick! Since then, it's been blissfully quiet on that front!

Just to let you know, we've got some new info! It seems these folks are indeed from BT. We rang the second number, which is 0800 6781966, and guess what? They didn’t ask for any bank details at all! As a result, we've ended up with more affordable broadband and a complimentary digi-box. So, all in all, it’s not turned out too shabby!

These numbers keep pestering me with calls, it’s usually once or twice daily. I answered once, but there was just silence on the other end! The numbers in question are 08009533006 and 08009533008. Quite annoying, to say the least!

We've been receiving a barrage of empty voicemail messages day in, day out. It’s rather annoying, to be honest. We’re keen to find out who’s behind these calls. Much appreciated!

We received a call from 08009533006, identified it as the Daily Mail, and decided to return the call. It seems that these individuals persist in ringing us, but there's something distinctly familiar about the voice on the line.
