I played it back and could hear loads of different voices and accents but the loudest one said something like "we got two more hooked (laughing loads), keep going everyone, keep it going we can do it"!!! When i asked why i’d need a new contract when i already have one, they just said it’s none of my business what i do with my current contract. Anyone saying it’s O2 calling is not telling the truth. I contacted O2 myself and they told me it’s definitely a scam number. Don’t share any of your personal info with this number. If you’re not sure, just call O2 for yourself.

Loads of folks say they called O2 and there’s nothing in the system. It's because it’s outbound sales - unless you agree to something, the caller won’t be able to get into your account since they’re cold calling and have no access before security checks. Not all outbound calls are dodgy, sure there’s plenty of muppets trying scams, but big utility companies and the like run massive legit sales pushes too.

0800 952 4852 rang me while I was busy at my job, didn't get to pick up quick enough. Feels like it could be some O2 sales call. Pretty sure I blocked this number before when my phone got reset during a fix. I've blocked it again now, so expect to get loads of texts soon saying they’re struggling to get through on the phone!

Got a call from this number and the bloke actually knew my name. He said he was ringing from O2, thanked me for sticking with them, then switched to a really pushy sales patter about a deal you can't find online or in any shop. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, rang on Friday (22/1/16) and then again today (25/1/16). They left a voicemail this time but it was just this woman saying something about "20 pence, I guess" followed by another lady talking quietly in the background. Strange and a bit confusing!
