The call was from PDSA, the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals. They do important work and really do need support, although recently they’ve been struggling a bit because of rising costs and more animals needing aid. It’s a big ask, I know, but I hope folks consider donating, whether that’s through this number or elsewhere. Just any charity that looks after animals in need, like PDSA or the RSPCA, deserves a bit of kindness. Our helpless pets rely on it after all.

I looked up the number on Google and its from PDSA, which is obvious after seeing all these comments. Imagine if we could all understand what our neighbours really need, not just want, and some folks with the means could offer help just by linking up with those nearby who might not be known to them. If everyone chipped into a community fund and a small group, chosen by us all, decided where the money goes, changing who’s on the board regularly, that would be a brilliant way to tackle problems bit by bit. Such a simple yet great idea!

I was quite relieved to find out from this site that it’s linked to PDSA, because I’ve been getting loads of calls from them all week on different numbers. That clears things up for me. i called this number back after seeing 2 missed calls and can say its legit. it’s the PDSA calling, they were just checking in and thanking me for my regular donations. i give to PDSA every month and they enter you in a weekly prize draw. if you donate, you might have won something or just getting a nice thanks from them. so no worries, it’s all genuine.

Got a call from this number earlier and they hung up as soon as I picked up. Looks like it’s from the PDSA National Enquiry Line (24 May 19), unless someone else has taken over their number. The PDSA are known for quite pushy fundraising and they’re really hard to remove from their mailing or call lists, so I’ve marked this as a bit of a nuisance even though the charity itself seems legit.
