I received an automated phone call today, claiming it was urgent. If it’s truly so pressing, why don’t they have the decency to actually talk to you? It makes you wonder just how sincere they really are, doesn’t it?

Greetings! Today, on Wednesday the 27th of December, I received a pair of calls back-to-back from the number mentioned above. If this truly is a legitimate call from E-on, wouldn’t it make sense for them to leave a voicemail? It's rather puzzling!

I had a couple of missed calls from this number today. During the second call, there was an automated message left, which urged me to urgently return the call concerning my EON account. It certainly seemed like a phishing attempt, especially since they must have had some insider info; I had literally settled my EON bill just the night before, and my mobile is connected to my account. Upon checking this site, I discovered similar remarks about a closely linked number, 08008830086. Is this a scam or the real deal?
