Honestly, it sounded pretty genuine. The person on the phone was really courteous and explained they wanted to check if I could find a better offer with Sky compared to my current internet provider. Total con! Some bloke saying he was from Sky wanting me to upgrade my package, which was strange cos I haven’t been with Sky since way before the digital switch. Told this lad called Roland that - reckon he was still a kid back when it was all analogue, so no wonder he had no clue. Best just give it a miss. Not sure if it’s linked, but every time I tried to post this, my screen got taken over by some supposed McAfee “alert” saying my computer was full of viruses (which it isn’t), and that I needed to pay up straight away to fix it. Proper scam tactic that.

Got one ring, no voicemail, just ignored it. Bet it’s another scammer, and Ofcom just lets em keep going.
