I found the number 0800 802 1174 popping up on my OSX Safari, and it’s definitely a call to get sorted. Just a heads up-I'm convinced this is some sort of malware, and I’m still battling to get it off my system.

Every time I try to access my PDF files, a rather annoying pop-up emerges, completely obstructing my work. I'm left unable to close the document or even continue using my computer. The message warns that my system is compromised by some kind of malware and insists that I must ring a specific number for assistance in removing it. When I did give them a call, they claimed to be located in India and assured me they were officially recognised by Microsoft for this type of support. It all felt quite dodgy, to be honest.
