When I was browsing with Safari on my Mac, this 0800 802 1174 number popped up. It turned out to be some kind of malware, and I've been battling to get rid of it ever since. Definitely watch out for this number!

Every time I try to view my PDF files, I get this annoying warning popping up that stops me from doing anything else. I can’t even shut the file properly or use my computer. The message tells me my computer is in danger because some harmful software has been detected, instructing me to ring a certain number for help. When I did call, they said they were from India and claimed that Microsoft had given them permission to fix these problems.
