It's becoming quite tiresome, receiving calls incessantly from various numbers. Our account isn't even close to its limit, so why the relentless pursuit? We've consistently declined to share any of our details over the phone, yet these callers are unwilling to divulge anything until we comply. What on earth is the purpose of that? Every time the phone goes off, we promptly toss the number into auto-reject, but somehow, they'll ring from yet another number-it's a never-ending cycle. It’s truly baffling…

Without a shadow of a doubt, that caller had absolutely nothing to do with HSBC! They claim to represent the bank, yet they had the audacity to ask for our full date of birth and security number. That’s definitely not in line with how a legitimate firm operates! It’s pretty clear they’re fishing for sensitive bank details. Take caution, everyone! We’ve already alerted the authorities about this dodgy behaviour. They’ve assured us they’ll investigate, but honestly, I’m not expecting much to come out of it.

I received a call from this number related to HSBC debt collection. If you're in debt with them, you might find that they tend to ring you from this and various other numbers.

When folk claim to be from HSBC, how on earth are you meant to identify them? They could be anyone, couldn’t they? For the sake of security, we’d never disclose any personal details over the phone, regardless of whether it's for verification or a simple number check. After all, anyone with a pen can craft a convincing story!

Throughout the day, we receive countless calls, yet we always avoid answering those from numbers we don't recognise, or any withheld or unavailable ones. We make it a point to look them up here first, and for any calls that turn out to be legitimate banks, we simply pop into town to check our accounts as soon as we can.

These individuals keep giving us a call incessantly, but we suspect it's HSBC behind it all. We choose not to engage with them and tell them we're heading into the branch instead. They seem incapable of hearing what you say and just regurgitate the same bits over and over, which is absolutely infuriating!

Received a call on a lazy Sunday afternoon, inquiring about our son. The moment we mentioned that this is his parents’ residence, they abruptly hung up. Quite vexing, to say the least.

Another call from HSBC! I'm really starting to wonder just how many numbers they possess. I’m seriously contemplating just getting rid of our landline for good!

Blimey, HSBC Bank's at it once more! Do they have an endless supply of phone numbers or what? I'm seriously contemplating just getting rid of our landline for good!

I've been plagued by calls from HSBC’s persistent numbers. Over the past couple of months, I've received calls from: 0800 389 7812, 0800 587 5764, 0800 783 0649, 0800 783 0766, 0800 783 1488, 0800 783 1529, 0800 783 2098, and 0800 783 2226. We’ve stopped picking up the phone because we’re curious just how far they’ll push it. It’s relentless - they call us up to eight times a day, every single day, and yes, that includes weekends too!

HSBC has acquired yet another number! Just how many numbers have they gone through, I wonder?

Have you heard of OFCOM? They're the regulatory body overseeing any telephone-related activities in the UK. To be honest, I'm a bit sceptical about them allowing these calls to come through - I mean, getting rung eight times a day, even with various numbers being used, seems a bit excessive, doesn’t it? I'm not fully clued up on the ins and outs of this situation at the moment, so don’t take my word as gospel. Still, I reckon it wouldn’t hurt to drop OFCOM a quick email for clarity on the matter.

We receive a multitude of calls daily, and I must admit, we never respond to numbers we don’t recognise or those that appear as withheld. It's rather handy to look them up here. Once we’ve established that it’s a legitimate call, particularly from banks, we promptly review our statements as soon as I’m back in the area.

I've been dealing with this lot as well. I popped into the local branch recently, had a chat with them, and even deposited some cash, yet I’m still bombarded by calls from these characters using different numbers nearly every day. The real kicker is that they often ring me before 9 AM, right when I'm heading off to work, which ends up waking up other family members. Understandably, they’re getting quite fed up with it too. It’s somewhat reassuring to know I’m not the only one experiencing this kind of hassle, mind you.

HSBC seems to have switched to a fresh number yet again. Goodness knows how many different numbers these folks have cycled through!

I received a call from this number, and it turned out to be a genuine HSBC representative. They likely contacted me regarding some concerns with my account, possibly linked to an overdraft or some bounced payments. Even if you’ve opted out of their marketing calls, they’ll still reach out for legitimate reasons like this; it's not a sales pitch. The representatives handle matters that branches no longer take care of, which might explain why the staff at my local branch aren't always aware of such calls, depending on their access to information.

We're rather sceptical about this phone number. It was supposedly HSBC, yet when we called them yesterday, the person on the line asked us who we were, which seemed rather odd. They then went on to claim that we were £88 overdrawn, which is simply not true. There were no other security questions asked, and the information they had about our account was totally wrong. Right after telling us about this supposed overdraft, they asked for a payment, which felt very off. We promptly ended the call at that point.

I must say, this number has been quite the nuisance. They’ve called us five times today alone, which is rather excessive, don’t you think? Oddly enough, we didn’t receive a single call from them yesterday. I've checked our online account, and much to my surprise, there’s been no change. We’d much prefer to sort things out with our local branch instead. However, it seems no one is available there, leading me to think we’re dealing with some sort of automated system. Quite frustrating, really!
