On the 10th of May 2019 at 18:05 BST, I received a text saying someone had added G Lukas as a payee to my current account. It wasn’t me at all, so the message asked me to ring them back on 08006894374 if I hadn’t done it. Quite unsettling to get something like that out of the blue!

Got a couple of texts this month, one said it was from EE, and just now I got another one saying “you added g lukas as a new payee to your current account. If that ain’t you, ring us on 08006894374.” Bit fishy if you ask me.

I also received a text from that number.

Got a message from this number saying someone called G Lukas was added as a new payee to my account. I didn’t do anything like that, so I looked into it and nothing has been changed on my end. Feels like a scam to me. The message said if it wasn’t me, I should ring 08006894374, but I’m not sure that’s legit. Be careful with calls or messages like this!

Got a text saying money had been taken from my bank but it was just a scam message! Don’t reply or call back!
