So this number called me earlier and I didn't answer. When I called back, I got one of those recorded messages warning about Santander fraud. Then I ended up talking to a person and told them my name, but I wouldn't share my bank info since they were the ones who called me first. They told me to ring the number on the back of my debit card to check if it was legit. I called Santander, but they said there was no record of their fraud team trying to get in touch with me. Bit fishy if you ask me.

I got a call from Santander about possible fraud. I didn’t pick up initially, but to be on the safe side I rang their fraud department directly. Turns out the call was legit.

Beware! They pretend to be from Santander by using phone numbers that look like the real deal. I got a call where the automated voice said it was Santander, but the amount they talked about definitely wasn’t in my account. I spotted the scam right away.
