Today, I've been inundated with four calls from this number, all asserting it's concerning a Mr Chivra Ghandi, a person who's never set foot in my home. The message insists he must contact the Fraud department. I'm at a loss as to how to stop these sorts of unsolicited calls from buzzing through to my landline. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

There's no way this was Santander ringing me, they phoned like seven times today and I've never had an account with them. So, why on earth would their fraud team be trying to reach me? One of the calls even left a voicemail for someone whose name isn't anything like mine.

Avoid this number at all costs, total scam alert! They’re faking being from Santander. Some folks here are even denying it’s a scam but I’ve just checked with Santander myself and they confirmed it’s fraud. Don’t believe a word from these scammers. The first call got declined, then they sent over their bank info. I never gave out my details to the automated voice, but since they rang back just 5 minutes after the failed one, it feels legit and safe enough. That’s the only info you need to provide. After that, it mentions a transaction that they want to verify. I hung up then called their official 0800 9 123 123 line to make sure, and they confirmed everything was legit.
