Got calls on my mobile then again on my landline. Contacted Santander complaints but it was pointless. They asked for card info and that 3-digit code. Told them where to stick it. Went to a Santander branch myself, and they were clueless. All these calls are just automated. Also, the closest Santander that’s still open is way too far. Santander, sort yourselves out. Might be time to switch banks for good.

For real. I was making a big transfer online and missed the SMS to confirm it. Then about an hour later I got this call. Had a quick look and saw the text, replied to it and the transaction worked fine. Best check your texts before panicking.

I tried using a discount link for Dominoes pizza, but my first payment got declined and then I got an automated call from this number - 0800 640 6114 - claiming to be the "Santander fraud line". Then I switched to my TSB card and that got declined too, followed by a call from 0345 3511 688, supposedly the "TSB fraud line". Sounds like a proper scam from that dodgy link. Both calls asked me to enter my date of birth using the phone keypad. I just hung up and I'm keeping a close eye on my bank accounts now.

like the other comment i got a voicemail saying it was from my bank's fraud team, left a three digit code and said to call back asap.

Got two calls late at night today from some automated voice claiming to be my bank’s fraud team. They told me to ring a different number and give them a 3-digit code. Did a quick google and the number actually linked back to Argos, not my bank at all. Definitely a dodgy scam.
