Its actually PayPal Credit, legit. I rang PayPal using their app and talked to Alice. She didnt know the number but passed me onto PayPal Credit, which is in Ireland. The bloke I spoke with even dialed the number himself and said it was legit! If you’re unsure, just give PayPal a ring directly through their app.

Sounds like a classic phishing scam to me. I’ve got the PayPal app and quickly checked - no issues on my account whatsoever. The caller had a Northern Irish accent but wasn’t very slick or convincing, couldn’t talk his way around me at all.
