They've now managed to reset my password, leaving me feeling downright panicked! Is it possible they could access my emails too? I’ve spent the entire morning trying to get through to PayPal, but their customer service has proven to be completely ineffectual, which only adds to my frustration. After they took control of my account, I hastily changed my password and blocked the sender. The number was 0800 368 7384. Seriously, whatever you do, don’t call them! When I finally hung up, they told me to go do one!

I was bombarded with ten emails from someone I’ve never heard of, all claiming to be PayPal wanting money. This number was listed as their customer service! They manage to gather your personal details and utilise your card for online transactions! I’ve taken the precaution of blocking my bank cards to safeguard myself!

I managed to prevent the sender from contacting me through the PayPal application on the transaction page. When I accessed the money request, it displayed a screen with all the pertinent details along with choices to either pay or reject the request. Right at the bottom, there were options available to block the lady who sent the request and to report her as well. I went ahead and did both actions. I trust this information might be useful!

I got a rather dodgy email from PayPal today regarding a request for funds supposedly from some Victoria Sosa. I promptly blocked the request on the PayPal app and chose not to ring that number. Seems like a scam to me!

I came perilously close to being duped! Whatever you do, steer clear of that number. Instead, just hop onto your PayPal account, cancel the request, and make sure to block that user. I've already reported it.
