Got an email saying I could get a £5 voucher for Tesco, Morrisons, M&S or Sainsbury's if I clicked a link to claim it. I tried the link on a secured device, but it ended up taking me to a dodgy, unsecured site. Also, the phone number they included in the email turned out to be totally useless. Really suspicious!

I got a call saying there was some 40% off deal on my mobile bill from O2. But as soon as I asked for more info and tried to check the account stuff, they just cut me off. Seems dodgy to me, a real provider wouldn’t just hang up like that when you ask questions. Definitely a scam!

I got a call on my mobile but they hung up before I could even pick up, no voicemail or anything left. Proper irritating!

Got a call, but when I picked up no one was there. Bit suspicious, could be a scam?

Just got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, but I couldn't make out a single thing she was trying to say. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

I got two calls within an hour from the same number. The lady said she was from a tech firm offering a 40% discount on my phone contract. The background was really noisy, like a busy call centre, so I stayed on the line for a bit the first time because I couldn’t quite catch where she was calling from. On the second call, she said she was ringing from O2, but the first call mentioned Vodafone, which was a bit confusing.

This has gotta be some kind of scam, no doubt about it.

Seems like a scam to me, these calls usually say they're from tech firms but it's just not right.

A bloke with an Indian accent called me claiming he was from O2’s promo team. Didn’t wait to hear him out, just gave him a right earful and slammed the phone down. Got stung by a similar scam ages ago, so watch out and report these dodgy calls!

This number kept ringing me up, claiming stuff about who they were and said I had to talk to them by law, which seemed totally made up. It was really annoying how persistent they were with those false messages.

Said they had the police’s okay to ring me up, but it sounded more like they were trying to sell me something.

I got a call from a lady claiming to be from Curry's PC World, telling me I’d apparently won some kind of contest. I told her I’d never even been to PC World or bought anything there. She just went, “Yeah, but you’re the winner anyway.” Then she just hung up on me.

I received a call earlier today from someone speaking with a foreign accent. They claimed my number was randomly chosen for some sort of early upgrade or update. I found that rather dubious, as I no longer have an account with O2. Quite the oddity, if you ask me!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from O2. Definitely a scam, since I've never had any contact with them.

Got a call from someone with a strong accent claiming to be from O2, started all friendly asking how I was. I quickly realised it was dodgy because I don't even have O2 anymore. Told her straight up, “I’m not interested in any scams,” and she just quietened down and said “Alright then, have a good day.” Mad how bold they are!
