Got a call from someone claiming to be from Visa, but when I said I wasn’t comfortable chatting with them, they only mentioned the bank’s name then. Oddly enough, I don’t even have an account with that bank. Total scam.

I got a call today from this number claiming to be NatWest. They said there was some issue with my account. But when I rang NatWest after, they told me there was no problem at all. Definitely a scam, watch out!

They rang my home phone while I wasn’t in, but didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. I’ve read other comments saying it’s a legit call from Barclays, but I’ve never held an account with them, not at any point. Feels dodgy to me, like some scam, especially since it looks like scammers might be posting on here pretending it’s real too.

I had some dodgy payments showing up on my debit card, they were buying tickets from British Airways without my permission. Received an unexpected call claiming to be from HSBC, inquiring about a couple of transactions. At first glance, everything appeared above board-nothing personal requested until they began probing about my mobile network and internet service. That raised my suspicions, I tell you.

I promptly blocked the number and decided to return the call, only to find it led to the voicemail of someone named 'Jason Smith'. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

Got an email that said there was a problem with my Barclays account, and it had a phone number to call. Sounded a bit off to me.

I answered and said hello a couple of times but the person just hung up. When I tried ringing back, an automated voice said it was a union but nobody could take the call. I checked with the union and they have no record of that number. Seems dodgy to me, probably spam.
