I can relate entirely! I've been inundated with four or five incessant calls, it’s become a right nuisance. They get quite rude if you choose not to pick up, and if they mistakenly reach me, they have the audacity to accuse me of lying! It’s clear they couldn’t care less about us. I suspect the lag in their response is due to some sort of automated system dialing countless numbers at once. When you pick up, it lights up on their screen, allowing them to connect and launch into whatever unwanted spiel they have lined up. It’s all about efficiency for them, isn’t it? I’m seriously contemplating getting myself a referee’s whistle to give them a good blast whenever they ring!
