Got several calls from this number today, like six or something, and they even left a voicemail but didn’t say a single word. Really weird.

I’ve had 6 calls already this morning and it’s not even past noon yet. 5 were just silent, and one person said “hello” then hung up. What’s the point of Ofcom if they don’t do anything about all these annoying scam calls? Really grateful to this website for helping us track down who keeps ringing and letting everyone else know about it. Cheers, Peter.

Got a few calls from this number today, but when I picked up no one said a word. Proper annoying that.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, was going on about how funerals are getting more expensive and if I’d sorted a plan to cover it. Kept pushing me to chat with another person who apparently knows more and could give me a quote. Even after I said I wasn’t keen, he just wouldn’t take the hint.

This number has been ringing me incessantly, every quarter of an hour, it seems! I managed to have a chat with one of their representatives who sounded Asian and politely requested them to cease contacting me. Despite this, the calls just won’t let up. It’s quite frustrating, really!

I received a rather curt response from someone overseas when I greeted them with a simple "hello", and then they abruptly hung up on me. Quite an unpleasant encounter, to say the least.

I received a call from someone inquiring about a Mrs Buck, but that’s certainly not my partner’s name. When they asked if she lived here, I replied negatively, to which he bluntly pressed me, asking if I was absolutely certain. I found his tone quite off-putting-bizarre, really!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent asking for Mrs Kenn. I told him I wasn’t, and he was quite polite, saying “sorry for troubling you, ma'am”. My name’s actually Quinn :). Kinda worrying that they’re using 0800 numbers these days - I thought those were usually safe?

I answered the call, there was just silence for nearly 10 seconds, then suddenly an automated voice came on and said “Goodbye.”

Some bloke with a funny accent named Sean rang me up, saying I was due a £2,500 refund from the government because the hotel where I stayed wasn’t up to hygiene standards and that made me sick. I told him I doubt the UK government would be checking hotels abroad! He kinda went quiet after that.

Today I got a call from an Asian guy but I wasn’t interested at all. He told me if I hung up, he’d ring back in two minutes. True to his word, he called again and started talking to my daughter. She told him to buzz off straight away. Then he said he was sitting in the corner of our house. My daughter told him if he didn’t stop calling, she’d involve the police and then she slammed the phone down on him.
