This number gave us a call just after noon on the 10th of March, 2011, while we were registered with the Telephone Preference Service. At first, there was complete silence on the line, followed by a brief snippet of music, and then it went quiet once more. We were able to trace the number by calling 1471 afterwards.

I received a call from this number earlier today at 14:01. I chose not to answer, and it appears they don't leave any voicemails either. If you want to trace it, you can use 1471 to find out that the number is 08001695876.

I've received a total of four of those annoying "silent calls" from these buffoons just today. As soon as we attempted to return their call, we were greeted by a recorded message introducing themselves as Card Protection Plan Limited, accompanied by an 0845 number to reach out to them. Quite fed up with this situation!

I've been inundated with calls from 08001695876 throughout the day. We’ve made it a habit not to pick up the phone, as I reckon if it were truly important, they'd leave a message. It’s rather bothersome, I must say!

They keep ringing our landline incessantly, and it’s utterly maddening. These callers simply won’t take a hint!

As soon as I answer, they hang up straight away - what a bother!

Absolutely no messages concerning any debts. Just to reiterate: 0800 169 5876, alternatively 0800 1695 876, and it also appears as 0800-169-5876 and 0800-1695-876.

Gave us a bell around half past nine this morning. As soon as we answered, they just hung up!

I've had numerous calls from this company, and I must say, the ringing is incessant! It seems like they always hang up without leaving a message, which is rather frustrating, especially when you really need to know what's going on. As someone else mentioned, it would be rather helpful if they actually left a message instead of just cutting off.

I just received a call from this number claiming to be related to CPP. The lady I spoke with was quite polite and took the time to clarify what they had to offer. She mentioned that they provide protection against theft and fraud for all our cards and bank accounts, for a fee of £29. When she enquired if we would be interested, we politely declined, and she graciously thanked us for our time. I'm still a bit taken aback by the experience! A courteous telemarketer, what are the odds? I could really use a cold drink after that!

No sound, just the dreaded silent call... how annoying!

We're utterly fed up with these bothersome calls! It's absolutely infuriating, especially since we work night shifts that last twelve hours. I’m really tired of being jolted awake by these interruptions.

Today, this company has managed to leave four unanswered rings on the voicemail system. It’s rather peculiar, isn’t it?

What a bunch of nuisances! These individuals are relentless in their pursuit of our subscription payment for their so-called "protection services." They seem to think it's acceptable to keep bombarding us with calls. Frankly, I'm not the slightest bit interested. Just leave us be, for crying out loud!

Don't bother answering calls from these folks - they’re nothing but a bunch of spammers and deserve to be dealt with accordingly!

We received a call from these folks on Wednesday afternoon, but when we answered, there was complete silence on the other end. Given that we hold an account with CPP, one would expect them to either acknowledge this and refrain from pestering us with sales pitches, or at the very least, have the courtesy to speak up as soon as we picked up the phone. Quite frustrating, really!

Received a call from this number earlier today around half past two. I didn't respond, and to be honest, we rarely ever do.

We seem to be plagued by calls from this number - it's a regular occurrence for our entire household. There was even a time when Dad had a proper conversation with someone, which is quite a rarity! This caller claimed to represent the Card Protection Plan, but as soon as she asked for some details, they abruptly hung up. Now, whenever I pick up the phone, they tend to do the same. What on earth is happening here?

We've been getting calls from this number too. They ring up, we answer with a friendly "hello," and then they just cut off. It's quite baffling, really! Anyone have an idea of what this could be about or who might be behind it?
