This isn't M&S Bank, despite their insistence on identifying themselves as such after numerous daily calls. A glance at the fraud section on the M&S Bank site clearly indicates that this number isn't one they use. Therefore, it's safe to say this is definitely a scam.

Would you believe it? HSBC has tried reaching out to me three times already! They seem to think we're all a bit dim-witted, don’t they? I'm warning you to watch out for the numbers 0800 587 7819 and, of course, 0800 328 4930. The other day, I received nine calls from the old number - absolutely ridiculous! Until now, things seemed quiet, but my hopes of no contact were clearly dashed! Truly, HSBC must be the 'least helpful' bank on the planet!

Regrettably, we must echo the sentiments expressed by earlier callers. We’ve been inundated with incessant rings over the weekend-apparently, the concept of Saturday night peace and privacy holds no sway for those hinterland call centre staff. It’s rather disheartening that this is hailed as ‘service’. The level of communication from these representatives leaves a great deal to be desired; they come across as little more than machines, cutting costs at the expense of genuine interaction. Whatever happened to the good old days when branch staff recognised the importance of customer care and courtesy? It seems like those times are long gone.

It's become quite ridiculous! I've had a third number from HSBC Credit Management ringing me incessantly this week - five times a day, if you can believe it! If this was truly urgent, surely they'd send a proper letter instead of bombarding me with calls! What even is this nonsense?

Oh, not HSBC again! Honestly, it’s getting utterly ridiculous at this point. These folks are just a complete shambles! If you're still banking with them, do yourself a favour and jump ship-trust me, we have! They're no better than those dodgy loan sharks if you ask me. However, their reply was baffling-they claimed they couldn’t comply because they require a phone number for verification. Honestly, what on earth?! I've just had three calls from HSBC in the last ten seconds. The first and third were nothing but dead air for a staggering 45 minutes before we decided enough was enough and hung up. The second call was just filled with heavy breathing. We wish we could chalk this up to a one-off, but sadly, this seems to be typical behaviour from HSBC. It's baffling and downright rude. After waiting for a whole fifteen months, they still refuse to acknowledge our complaint, and it feels like they're trying to scare us into dropping it. Well, that’s simply not going to happen.

Despite repeatedly stating that we won’t share any details over the phone and requesting them to communicate via letter, we're still being hounded. They ring our home and mobile phones up to ten times a day! We have no debts with them, and our accounts are all well in the black. Honestly, we're contemplating moving our banking elsewhere!

We absolutely refuse to pick up the phone for numbers we don’t recognise. If it’s important, I know they’ll send an email or drop a letter. After receiving one of those 0800 calls, we typically spend some time trying to deduce who it was that interrupted us. I've heard that these folks have been bothering others, and I’m tempted to answer the next time they ring and really let them have it! Cheers! 😄

These folks call us every couple of days, yet no one ever responds when we say, "Hello? Is anyone there?" It surely feels like a scam, if you ask me!

A fresh number has started to pester us today. We decided to give it a ring back (the number was withheld) and were informed: "You received a call from HSBC bank. There’s nothing else you need to do." Aside from jotting this down in the long list of silent calls we get, we won't be taking any additional steps.

I can't quite fathom what these folks are thinking. HSBC seems to have rolled out their third number at this point, as if they think we’re all fools! It appears that HSBC has taken to hiring rather immature young women who come across as rather rowdy and overly persistent. Unfortunately, these staff members seem rather clueless, lacking vital information and any real authority to assist. When they use the word "help," it feels as genuine as a mobster's promise. It's quite amusing that, as far as I can see, there isn't a hint of "morality" to be found anywhere on HSBC's website. Perhaps it's time for a change in banking institutions, and I wouldn't mind if these staff members returned to Hong Kong or Shanghai, from whence they hail. After all, HSBC originally stood for the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation!

We’re currently facing a real nuisance from HSBC, and it seems like they’re on a mission to keep changing their numbers. The moment we pick up the phone, it’s almost like they’re playing games-there’s this awkward pause before someone finally chimes in with a “hi, was that . . . . .” It’s utterly maddening! Thankfully, we're now using BT’s caller display feature, but honestly, isn’t this a clear case of harassment? Surely, there must be a way to report these persistent callers, right?

It feels a bit predatory, if you ask me, like vultures picking at the remains after a feast. I’d advise blocking their number on your mobile and notifying your landline provider to reject calls from 0800 numbers. Let’s not allow them to scavenge what little we’ve got left!

I keep receiving calls from this number claiming to be from HSBC, insisting that I owe money from 2005. Naturally, I decided to pop into my local branch for some clarity, but it turns out they haven't a clue what these callers are on about. The staff advised me to refrain from engaging further and suggested I request a written explanation of their demands. With that, I'll be able to bring it back to the bank for proper verification!

This caller has been incessantly bothering us, making around eight attempts each day for the last month, consistently between half past eight and eight. They've never left a message, and we can hardly ever pick up since they hang up after just one ring. We were eagerly awaiting a call about a job, especially now that I’m six weeks pregnant, but instead, we just end up frustrated. It's utterly pointless and incredibly annoying!
