Got a call from someone pretending there was suspicious activity on my Barclaycard. They tried to trick me into giving ‘just 10 digits of my card’, plus the expiry date and CVV, saying they needed it to check for unauthorised transactions. The card number they had was almost right, just one digit off from my actual Barclaycard. Definitely a scam.

Today, I got a call from someone saying they were from Barclaycard, telling me my card was used in Manchester. Thing is, I haven't used my Barclaycard in ages, like over three months. They tried to get me to verify my card details, but I didn't share anything and just ended the call. Afterwards, I rang Barclaycard straight away using the number on my card, and they told me there were no transactions. So yeah, it was clearly a scam trying to get my info.
