Hey everyone - just a heads up, I reckon there’s a couple of firms using the same “samurai style” name for their products. One does some sort of upgrades but honestly, it wasn’t great. Then there’s another called “samurai style windows and doors” that handled my glass and they were brilliant. They checked everything properly and I was well pleased with how it all went. No hassle at all.

Great service and it didn’t cost a penny to have my windows checked. They replaced all the glass at the front with some rated stuff and I’m really chuffed with how it turned out. Would totally suggest giving them a go!

I got a call from Samurai Style windows and doors but it was from another freephone number. Then, one of their surveyors came round, was really polite and checked all the glass in my home. I went ahead and bought from them and I'm quite pleased with the quality. I’d totally suggest giving them a try! Seems like there might be two companies with nearly the same name but different freephone lines, so watch out for that.

Last week, I got a ring from a company called Samurai Style, and the next day, this bloke Adam Ali came over. I said yes to having my windows sorted and handed over a hefty cash deposit. But then today, I got a call from a different firm using the same number. When I got back from work, I tried ringing all those numbers, but all went dead except for the customer service line, and they just wouldn’t pick up. Seems like I’ve been scammed, proper disgusting if you ask me.

I paid a deposit to get my windows changed and the work was never done. I’ve tried ringing them loads of times, sent emails and letters but still haven’t had any reply. Really frustrating!

I got a call about a free glazing inspection and, for a laugh, I told them my flat was underground and asked if they could install windows. They just hung up, so I guess the answer’s no, haha!

Had a call from one of those pushy cold callers trying to sell something. Best thing I did was just not pick up and later blocked the number. No point giving them the time of day.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to offer a "FREE" check on my window glazing to see if it’s working properly. Surprised if it was, knowing how these things go, they probably find something wrong to sell you some pricey fix. In the end, that ‘free’ test just turns into a costly hassle. Typical!

Got calls non stop from a double glazing firm with the number 08001114622. Was getting a bit much, so I just blocked it.

Picked up the phone but the bloke wouldn’t let me get a word in edgeways. I said I wasn’t interested and just had to put the phone down. Then he called straight back, insisting I listen to him, but I still didn’t bother and hung up once more before blocking the number. Feels like a scam aimed at people they reckon are easy targets or a bit gullible!

Watch out for Samurai Style Upgrades. They charge ridiculous prices, forcing you to swap out glazed units that don’t really need it. Feels like they’re just trying to rip off older folks. Definitely not fair.

Got a call out the blue, they left a recorded message on my answering machine with their number. Looked them up after and saw loads of negative reviews, so I chose not to ring back. Wondering how they even got hold of my number since I'm ex-directory? Feels like my info’s been sold somewhere.

This week, I've received a couple of calls from this particular number linked to the Energy Saving Centre. The initial conversation centered around recycling my double glazing and whether I was considering an upgrade. Each time they rang, I politely declined and reiterated that I'm not interested in unsolicited calls. I eventually ended the call. I've now blocked the number, but what was unsettling is that they addressed me by name. I've also registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

This number called me a couple times this week, said they were from some energy saving center. The first time, they started talking about recycling my double glazing and asked if I wanted to replace it. Both times I just said “no thanks” and told them I don't take cold calls, then ended the call. They actually knew my name, which freaked me out a bit. I got a call from some woman claiming to be from Energycare. She kept pushing me to sign up for some new funding deal about windows. Every time I said no, she just wouldn't back off. Eventually, she just hung up on me. Not really impressed by the way Energycare staff are handling their calls!

So this bloke called Matt gave me a ring. I just wanted a basic quote so I could think it over properly. When I didn’t give him an answer right then, he claimed he rang his manager and kept pushing me hard while still on the call. I had to tell him to bugger off, and he only left after I went to the door and let him out.

Got a call from some energy saving place, a young woman on the line claiming they were carrying out some sort of energy checks nearby (bit of a sales pitch really). I just told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call there.

I really think you should report this firm to TPS, ICS, and Action Fraud. They’ve treated you unfairly and it’s not right at all. From what I can tell, they might be sharing your info with dodgy sources. The company, The Energy Saving Centre Ltd, registered on 21 June 2016 with number 2a190940, seems to be connected to names like Energiglass and Energisaver. Address is 54 Clarendon Road, Watford WD17 DU. Their registration actually expired on 20 June 2017, so be extra careful with them.

I picked up the phone to find someone on the other end claiming to represent "Energy Glass." I told them I had no interest in whatever they were offering and promptly hung up.
