They claimed to be from Vodafone checking if I was on their cheapest deal. I’m locked into a contract until next month’s renewal, so surely they should’ve known that. Then they wanted me to do some sort of security check. I wasn’t happy with that at all - they called me out of the blue, so why should I give them my information? Could’ve been anyone. I just hung up. I hate getting calls and then being asked to prove who I am - if youre the one calling, you ought to already have all my details!

Claimed to be from Vodafone but reckon it was some other firm. They wanted to 'review' my phone usage and try to sell me a better deal. I'm locked into a Vodafone contract so I knew straight away that couldn't be right.
