Phone number ☎️ 08000869345 👆 is reported as a persistent scam involving callers who falsely claim to represent government-backed or official call blocking services, often referencing the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). Callers, frequently with Indian accents, use local London numbers and provide dubious contact details. They typically target vulnerable individuals, especially the elderly, by stating the victim’s registration has expired and demand bank card details, including expiry dates, to process a one-off or recurring payment for a “call blocking” service costing around £29 to £79. Many victims report unauthorised charges and difficulty obtaining refunds. The calls can be aggressive or silent, and refuse to provide verifiable company information when challenged. Users are strongly advised not to share personal or financial data and to report such calls to official authorities.

Can anyone explain what good it does them just getting your expiry date?NatWest8 yearsGot a ring from someone called Patricia saying she was from Call Protect, based at 27 Old Gloucester Street London, number 0131 507 0414. She gave me an 0800 number when I said I'd ring her back. When I asked her to double check if my TPS was really expired, the call suddenly got cut off. Seems very fishy to me! Definite scam!8 yearsA woman with what sounded like an Indian accent rang me claiming they’re working to stop nuisance calls. She asked me to confirm my number (which seemed pointless as they had it already to ring me). When I asked for a contact number she gave me 0800 086 9345. But when I enquired about the company name, she suddenly used a different name from the one she first gave - National Do Not Call Services. We reported it to the police via 101 and also told Derbyshire trading standards.Sam10 yearsIf you're tryna see if those pesky telemarketers or spam calls come through, they might sign you up or something, but then they start asking for your credit card details and how you pay your phone bill. Next thing you know, they say it’s a one-time £29 charge. They already have your name and where you live too, which is kinda worrying.Submit Your Own Report (0800 086 9345)
