I’d been with these guys for seven years, but when I needed my dishwasher fixed, they didn’t show up. They even told me by email it was better to just buy a new one since mine was old. Since then, they haven’t sent over the payment for the dishwasher, and I’m now having to go through small claims court. Once I started sending letters by recorded delivery, they began returning all my letters marked as "not known," even though someone had signed for them. I've been shelling out money for an insurance policy via Direct Debit for the last three years, and now that I need to flag a problem, it’s been three weeks of trying to get through with absolutely zero luck! No one picks up the phone, and my emails have been completely ignored. To make matters worse, I can't even dig up any info about the company online. It's all rather dodgy if you ask me. Steer clear of this firm at all costs! They appear to be conning people-collecting cash without any means of contact!

I believe 0800 086 9366 belongs to SURE APPLIANCE. I’ve had a policy with them since 2018 and made a few claims over the years. Recently I tried reaching out, but only got an automated message saying they were short on staff due to covid. It felt dodgy, so I stopped my direct debit straight away. I also checked with CUSTOMER HOUSE and they say there’s no record of any issues or administration. Honestly, I’m baffled about what’s going on with them now.

I recently signed up for insurance with this firm, but when it came time to sort out a problem with my washing machine, I found myself in a right pickle trying to get in touch with them. I dialled their number and was met with utter silence, despite leaving several messages begging for assistance. They claim to operate between 10 and 6, yet when I rang at 10, there was no answer, and at 5, I was told they’d already shut up shop for the day. I even dropped a message on their website, but alas, no response. I would highly recommend steering clear of this company if you can.

For the last three years, we've been shelling out £150 each year in premiums. Just in November, we decided to make our first claim as both the dishwasher and washing machine decided to give up the ghost simultaneously. However, Sure Appliance informed us that we could only submit a claim for one item every three months. I ended up purchasing a new washing machine and mentioned I'd put in a claim for the dishwasher in the next quarter. An engineer came out and deemed both appliances beyond repair, with his visit costing us about £75. Since then, we've received three messages with supposed delivery dates for the dishwasher, but sadly, none of them have come to fruition...

My appliance broke down about four months ago and it's been a nightmare since. They promised me a replacement over two months back but still nothing has arrived. I’ve tried calling countless times but it’s impossible to get through. Every time it says all agents are busy and that someone will return my call. Only one person has ever called me back though, and I haven’t spoken to anyone else the entire time!

They even began sending letters through the post. I’m definitely going to report this to the police.

Got a call from these people saying we had a policy with them for a cooker and washing machine and that we were behind on payments. We’ve never even heard of this company before! What really freaks me out is how they managed to get hold of our bank info in the first place - that’s quite worrying!

Had a call from some company claiming they were handling my insurance now instead of my usual provider. They tried to verify my debit card info before sending a confirmation letter. They said they were FCA registered and gave me a website - something like sureappliance - that turned out to be fake. I’ve contacted my current insurer to ask why my info was shared with a third party without me agreeing to it (GDPR). Waiting to hear back.

Im trying to get a policy cancelled that my dad apparently has with this company. I cant find any info on their business registration or ICO details anywhere. Not sure how they got hold of my dad's info, but it probably is like the other comments say. If this turns out not to be a scam, I'll be very surprised!

Totally a scam. Some firm named Mizzy Digital Solutions, or Surevision, rang my elderly mum saying she’s insured with them and that they’re updating her policy. Complete rubbish. Our solicitor will be contacting them soon.

Someone rang me about my washing machine insurance, saying it had been switched to Sure Appliance. They kept asking for my bank details and already had the last four numbers of my account. Then they wanted the three digits from the back of my card. I wouldn’t give them, but they got pushy trying to convince me. I told them to send the info through the post instead. Honestly, I’m pretty sure this was a scam and not a real call.

I’m really not convinced they’re genuine. When I asked them why they had my mum and dad’s details, they couldn’t come up with a proper explanation. Plus, the only address they gave me was a PO Box. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they were SureVision, and that they’d taken over my TV cover from Cover Plan. I’ve never come across either company before. They knew my bank and sort code but kept asking for my full account number to "confirm details". Feels like a total scam to me.
