Somebody called me pretending to be from Santander. I decided to ring Santander using a number I trust, and they said it definitely wasn’t them. Kind of worrying they had both my name and my number though.

i recieved a call from 08000851281 and they told me to ring 08000851271, claiming to be from santander. i checked with santander myself and found out its just a phishing scam. legit banks like santander would never ring you on a random number like that. best to ignore these calls.

Just a heads up about this number. I got a message and when I called them back, they tried to charge me £§ over some credit card issue. Thankfully, I didn’t fall for it as I knew my card was fine. Be careful, folks!

avoid pickin up or ringin back the 08000851271 number, they’ve been ringin me nonstop for weeks sayin it’s santander. i’ve blocked the caller but they still manage to drop voice messages claiming it’s santander. definitely not the real santander number!

Don't ever ring back or pick up calls from 08000851271. For over a month now, I've had them ringing me nonstop, telling me to call that number for Santander. Even after blocking it, they still leave voicemails claiming they're Santander. It's definitely not the bank, so stay clear.

I tried calling them back, but as soon as it mentioned I was behind on my credit card payments, I just hung up straight away.

This number has been ringing my house phone and mobile one after the other for days now. It kicked off last week when I got a text about some issue with my account. I checked with Santander, and they told me everything’s fine. It’s been happening pretty much every day since.

someone called claiming to be from santander, but they sounded really sketchy. they left a voicemail saying i was in debt on a card i have no clue about. when i tried calling back, it just sounded like someone was fiddling with a keyboard in their house or something. kind of fishy if you ask me.
