There was no voicemail left when I picked up the phone.

i got a call from this bloke who acted like we’d chatted about getting 2 windows replaced ages ago, like 4 years back. i couldn’t remember a thing and felt really wary since he was way too chummy, cracking jokes about how bad my memory was and kept calling me ‘mate’, which honestly felt rude. then he asked if i was the person who owned the house. i just told him to shove off and hung up. whether he’s a con or not, felt like he was after my cash so i treated him like one.

Had some work done by this Andy bloke before, and he rang me up offering a £500 voucher if I booked new work with him because he’s opening a new shop nearby. He kept calling me “my lovely,” which honestly just annoyed me straight away. Something about the whole thing felt dodgy to me.
