They insisted there were issues with my broadband and told me they were the primary internet provider for the entire UK. They asked me to input something on my computer-quite suspicious if you ask me! They provided the number 08000 843 487 and said the person's name was James Williams with an employee number of 1087. However, my actual provider has confirmed they have nothing to do with this, nor do they have any connection to TalkTalk. I've expressed my doubts, but the callers have persisted, ringing me back repeatedly. At one point, a supposed manager even called, making it the fourth or fifth time I was contacted.
