We've received various calls and messages from this number. To the best of our understanding, it seems to be related to the phone insurance we acquired through Phones4U or Carphone Warehouse via Gadgetline. When one purchases a mobile phone contract, they often benefit from a complimentary week of insurance, which is then billed weekly after that initial period. We opted out of the insurance within the first month, yet our account was still debited in the following month. Consequently, we terminated the direct debit. Now, we're being bombarded with calls and text messages from them.

The only direct debit we've got is with Virgin Media, and I've not received any correspondence from them, nor has my bank mentioned anything. We decided to cancel our direct debit because they were withdrawing the wrong amounts from our account and refused to rectify the issue. Consequently, I’ve blocked them completely. We've received a communication from "Policy Admin" directing us to ring them on 0800 015 5642, which was sent on the 2nd of November, 2010. Then, just two days later, another message pinged through, this time asking us to get in touch on 0800 072 9720. Since we've recently terminated our Phones4u phone insurance, it all seems rather logical now.

I’ve received a couple of text messages on my T-Mobile phone from different numbers, and interestingly, when I called back, the same person answered each time. It seems to be regarding mobile phone insurance, but the truth is, I’ve never taken out any insurance policy with them or anyone else for that matter. It’s a pay-as-you-go phone, so all this feels like a rather desperate attempt to intimidate me into engaging with them. I’ll just add these numbers to my blocked contacts and delete the messages without a second thought!
