I had a bit of a mishap on the road recently, and out of the blue, I received a call saying they were reaching out on behalf of my insurer to obtain information regarding the incident. They didn’t request any payment details, which was a relief, but they did ask for my address and date of birth - details my insurance should definitely already possess. It has the whiff of a scam or perhaps someone fishing for personal information to offload elsewhere.

Had a phone call at roughly 11:50 this morning inquiring whether I resided in a council home.

Someone called pretending to be from the government, trying to trick me. Felt dodgy right away!

So this bloke calls me up and starts saying I’m living in council housing illegally, which isn’t true at all. When I asked for his company name, where he was calling from, and a contact number to ring back, he just cut me off straight away. Proper dodgy behaviour.

The ownership appears to be linked to some individuals from Poland, particularly a chap named David Casem-though it looks like he might be residing in Ireland? Quite the riddle, if you ask me!
