Said he’s from Virgin Media but I haven’t checked with Virgin myself. It was an Indian bloke with a really thick accent, called himself Marcus. First he wanted to talk to me, then when he realised he was, he asked if he could speak to my sister instead. Then he wanted me to give her password on her behalf. I said no, and he then asked if I could tell her to call back on that number. Feels fishy, why would they ring me first if they wanted her? She’s never had a missed call from that number before.

This number kept ringing me like 3 or 4 times daily so I finally picked up. It was a lady claiming to be from Virgin Media's debt collections, saying I owed money for a cancelled contract, then asked for my card info. I said no, and she gave me a customer service number that turned out to be totally fake. I got in touch with Virgin proper customer help, and they quickly cleared things up without me paying anything. I wouldn’t trust this number at all. If you’re unsure, just call Virgin directly, they were really helpful and sorted it in no time.

Got a call from a man with a paused voice claiming to be from Virgin Mobile. He asked for my husband by name, saying he needed to verify some details on the account. My husband didn’t want to talk. When I offered to help, they said they’d only speak if I knew the account password, which I didn’t. Then the caller told me to hand the phone to my husband.
