Got a text from Virgin Media about missed payments, but it was meant for someone called FAUSTINA - not my name at all. The message said they’d be calling me soon, and sure enough, they rang today. I answered but just said hello a few times and no one replied. I’ve never had Virgin Media before, so I’m thinking someone might have signed up using my number by mistake or something.

Got a call from 0800 0522170, some automated voice claiming to be Virgin. They wanted me to provide letters from my memorable info, which I didn’t recall, then asked for my postcode and address. After that, they asked how I paid my last bill, and when I said direct debit, they said they couldn’t access my account.
