I've received a couple of calls, one a few days ago and another just this morning, both reciting very similar tales. Initially, the caller claimed to be Daniel Brook from a place called pec6, and conveniently provided an address: 25 High Street, Wimbledon. A quick check via 1471 revealed the number 0233 333332. Interestingly, it turns out 25 High Street is actually a restaurant! During today’s call, the chap claimed to be from the 'Microsoft Department'. He shared a website (www.pefixed.net) along with a toll-free number, 0800 0488447, and proceeded to rattle off a lengthy code, asserting it was my computer registration. He then asked me to access my computer programs, but I didn't give in! I made it clear that I was using various computers, and the one in use was an Apple. Eventually, he just hung up the phone. Quite the experience!

I received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be Robin, who insisted that my IP address was being misused by others. He then had the audacity to ask me for £99! Can you believe it? Such scammers! He even tried to frighten me with threats of prison time, which I found rather amusing. What a complete con!

I’ve just had a rather amusing phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, warning me that my computer was on the brink of crashing within the next few hours. He seemed to have an Indian or Pakistani accent and kept asserting that my machine was sending out error alerts, and that I simply had to let him "fix" the issue for the sake of their servers. I couldn't help but chuckle and asked him if he truly thought I’d fall for such nonsense. Despite my laughter, he persisted, so I told him I would reach out to Microsoft myself. This clearly miffed him, and he tried to insist I call this number instead. Of course, I had no intention of doing that - I decided to do a little research online instead, which led me to this site. This isn’t my first encounter with such callers, it seems to be a regular thing!

I’ve just received a rather curious phone call from a chap named Mr Richard Brise, who appeared to have an Asian-sounding accent. He claimed to be representing Microsoft and mentioned that my Windows 7 Microsoft ID key had been compromised, along with my personal details. To my utter disbelief, he requested access to my computer! When I mentioned that I’ve got eight machines, three of which are running Windows 7, he insisted they were all interconnected and that my internet had been infiltrated. I informed him that my computers are scattered across Inverness, Glasgow, and Dumfries and urged him to provide more precise information. They’re quite the characters, aren’t they? I stuck to my guns and reminded him that I'm an Apple user with its own operating system; hacking isn’t really our concern!

I received a call from PC Fixed yesterday concerning some ongoing issues I had been grappling with on my computer. My internet browser was acting up, and the entire system kept freezing, which was beyond frustrating. I must admit, I was quite exasperated with the whole situation. However, they managed to sort everything out for me, and I'm pleased to report that the machine is now running like a dream! I'm not entirely sure what magic they worked, but it certainly didn't cost the earth. Highly delighted with their service!

I received a rather alarming phone call from someone named Alan Cooper, who asserted that he was affiliated with Microsoft. He claimed that my computer had been bombarding their servers with error messages and that a hacker was attempting to breach my system. He insisted he could assist in thwarting this supposed cyber threat. However, given that Microsoft doesn't have my mobile number, I immediately sensed something was off. I told him I was busy at that moment and made a note of the number he provided: 08000488447.

I've been inundated with calls from various overseas numbers, typically claiming to be contacting me on behalf of Microsoft. Recently, they’ve taken to insisting there's an issue with my server... as if! Honestly, do they think I fell off the turnip truck yesterday? One chap, who called himself John (or something along those lines), claimed to be ringing from London. Sure thing! There were clearly multiple foreign accents in the background. He asserted he was American-good one! He simply wouldn’t accept that I labelled them as scammers! I mean, how clear can one be? The number appeared as an out-of-area call, yet he insisted he was with a company named PC Fix Corporation, using the number 0800 0488447. I did a bit of digging, and their website offers no indication of their actual location, and the number doesn’t seem to have a British ring to it. They sure know how to keep hounding, don’t they?

Similar to other experiences, I received a few rather pushy calls from a chap named Mr Alim at PCfixed, who kept asserting that my server indicated I was facing computer issues. He claimed he could decipher my error messages and sort them out for me. During his second attempt, he provided the number 0800 048 8447. I appreciate the heads-up. Although I've come across a vague message extolling their virtues, and noticed they even have a website, I shan't be availing myself of their services...

Today, I received a couple of calls from a bloke named Justin claiming to be with Microsoft. He kept insisting that I grant him access to my computer to sort out some alleged issues. It was quite the ordeal; he wouldn't take 'no' for an answer and just kept waffling on. In the end, I had no choice but to end the call abruptly.

I received a call from this lot claiming to represent Microsoft, and they wanted to get remote access to my computer. Honestly, it’s a total con! Don’t engage them; if they gain access, you could end up with all sorts of trouble on your hands. Just hang up and stay safe!

I've just had a dodgy call, and I strongly urge you to hang up immediately. Don’t let these scammers get a foothold on your device, otherwise you could end up compromised! It’s crucial to alert the e-crime unit at the Metropolitan Police about these nefarious folks. Stay vigilant and don’t fall for such trickery!

They just won’t stop calling! I decided to give them a piece of my mind, being as unpleasant as I could manage. The bloke on the other end just laughed and promised to keep harassing me. It’s infuriating! Does anyone have a clue where their call centre is? I’m tempted to storm in there and have a word with someone face to face!

On the 17th of December, I received a phone call from these people insisting that I switch on my computer so they could rectify some Microsoft issues. I expressed my discomfort with the whole situation but mentioned I was keen on resolving the errors myself. Eventually, I had to inform him that I was shutting down my computer and didn’t require assistance. He tried to alarm me by claiming my computer would crash in a few weeks’ time - absolute rubbish!

Another Indian call centre, how original.
Once more, I’m being told my computer has been compromised.

I humoured her for ages and eventually discovered she was representing P C FIXED, who apparently have operations in the UK, USA, and Australia?

Do yourself a favour and steer clear of calling them back; it’s undoubtedly a dodgy setup. Chances are, it’s one of those pricey premium numbers that’ll nick a few quid from your pocket the moment you pick up. Just let it slide - sooner or later, they’ll likely lose interest and leave you be. If it were a legitimate call, why would they hang up just to bait you into ringing back? It's nothing but a load of scammy nonsense, if you ask me. Don’t let those lowlifes get the better of you!

I’ve noticed that this number has been ringing a lot of folks, and it seems I’m not the only one who’s had enough! It baffles me how they’re still permitted to pester people with calls only to hang up abruptly. It’s really frustrating!

I received a call from this number earlier today - the classic setup that I recognised immediately. I decided to humour them for a bit, but once I inquired whether they intended to send a link that could potentially ruin my computer, and mentioned that I’m actually an officer who tackles fraud cases, the line unexpectedly went silent. Quite amusing, really!

Today, I got a call from this number. The connection was dreadful, so I suggested they provide their number for me to call back. Naturally, I didn’t bother following up. I’m curious, though-who ought I inform about this? I noticed the Metropolitan Police had shut down a few call centres back in 2010. Are they possibly re-emerging?

I've been receiving calls from individuals claiming there's an issue with my computer, insisting they're from Windows and that they need to sort it out. They keep pushing me to open the RUN dialogue and enter a new code they've provided. I'm not quite sure how to handle this situation-any advice would be appreciated!
