This number has rung me like 6 times already this week. Every time i answer, they just hang up on me.

My partner thinks there’s a robot that rings every number from a call centre. When you pick up, the robot supposedly notes your number and then checks if any of the agents are free to take a call. If everyone’s busy, the robot just hangs up on you. But if one of the agents isn’t chatting with someone else, the robot passes your call on to them so they can talk to you. We’re not sure what they’re actually pushing, but that’s kind of how we imagine the whole call process works.
