I’ve encountered a rather dubious situation lately where someone was impersonating my bank and fishing for personal information by asking me a series of so-called data protection questions. It certainly raised some alarms about potential bank fraud!

I received a dodgy call claiming to be from Natwest. It's clearly a scam! I've seen many comments here suggesting it's legit, but I reckon those are just the fraudsters attempting to mislead others. If you're unsure, best to ring the number on the back of your card using a different phone. Stay vigilant!

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Airpark, stating there had been some fraudulent activity on my NatWest credit card. The voice instructed me to press 1 for further information. Then it bizarrely referred me to a place called the nunnery, which sounded eerily similar to the original caller. I recognised it as a scam right away and promptly blocked the number. What a cheek!

Absolutely dodgy, I'd say. I've no affiliation with NW whatsoever, yet I've received two texts from them, along with a follow-up call. The messages came across as rather unconvincing, to be honest. Best to ignore them entirely!

I received a call from this number, purporting to be the fraud prevention team from Nat West. It was an automated message, and feeling dubious, I decided to end the call. Almost immediately afterward, I was contacted by Nat West through another verified number. Now I’m inclined to think that the original 0800 number might indeed be authentic, although I haven’t confirmed it yet. The call came right after a legitimate transaction I had carried out, but given the situation, I can understand why it raised a red flag in their automated system and prompted the call in the first place.

I received a call from this number and decided to return the call using the contact number on the reverse of my credit card, so I presume it was indeed the fraud prevention team from NatWest. Nonetheless, when they initially reached out, there was no way of knowing for sure.

Received an automated call from NatWest today. When I hit '1' as instructed, they proceeded to request my card number. I flatly refused, informing them I’d already alerted the police about this number. I then ended the call and reached out to my card’s fraud team. Nothing out of the ordinary there!
