I get calls from them all the time saying I’ve got an unpaid bill, but I always pay my bills on payday, so there’s no way anything’s outstanding. I think they’re connected to the 3 company or something, but it’s so irritating when I know I’ve already sorted everything.

Got a call from some finance lot claiming I owed money, supposedly direct debit but I've never missed my £16 a month. Sounds like a total scam. Rang Three to double-check and they said it’s not one of their official numbers. Be warned!

0800 033 8015 isn’t a legit Three Mobile number at all. I chatted with Three via live support and they confirmed it’s not their number. Definitely don’t share any personal info if this number calls you. If you need to get in touch with Three, just use the official contacts on their website or give them a ring directly. Stay safe!

Got a call from this number but it never showed as Three on my phone. They wanted my birthdate, but I said no way and told them I'd ring Three myself. Three said they hadn't called from this number and told me to block it. Weird thing is, I got a text from what looked like Three about a final balance owing, with the number 03333381031 to ring. Both seem dodgy, definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from Three. They refused to say why they were ringing unless I gave them personal info to "verify my identity". The moment I hesitated, they just hung up. I’d already closed my Three account two months ago.

I received a call from this number and, interestingly, it didn’t appear to be linked with Three. The caller requested my date of birth, but I declined, stating I'd prefer to reach out to Three myself. Upon checking, Three confirmed they hadn’t attempted to call me from that number. They recommended I block it immediately. To add to the unease, I also received a text message on my Three account saying my final balance was due and included a number - 03333381031. I suspect both are scams.

Yea it is 3. If you have any issues just ring them using the number in your account (or old account) info. With all these spoofed calls going around, you can't really tell if it's really 3 or some scammer pretending to be them to try and steal your money. Watched a really good show about scams on Channel 5 yesterday. Proper eye-opener!!!

Honestly, I’m not 100% convinced it’s really Three calling as they always phone outside of working hours and just leave a quiet voicemail instead of a clear message. That said, I did have an unpaid balance after shutting my account but managed to fix it using their live chat. So if you’ve got a Three account and aren’t sure, I’d suggest trying the live chat first!

Some bloke rang saying he was from '3'. I told him I don’t have any '3' phone plan or phone, and that I’d been getting a bunch of calls this week from people pretending to be '3'.
